“HE IS RISEN”
Words: Eric Schumacher.
Music: Tune: LASST UNS ERFREUEN.
Arrangement: Joshua Otte.
O trumpet sound a vict’ry call!
And tongues proclaim good news for all:
He is risen! He is risen!
O! Let a thousand hymns break forth,
Proclaiming our Redeemer’s worth!
Give Him glory! Give Him glory!
He is risen! He is risen!
Hallelujah!
He who was slain on our behalf,
Suff’ring beneath His Father’s wrath:
He is risen! He is risen!
He who was hung upon the tree,
Rose from the tomb in victory!
Give Him glory! Give Him glory!
He is risen! He is risen!
Hallelujah!
O Christian, are you filled with gloom?
Then look inside the empty tomb!
He is risen! He is risen!
Here there is hope for ev’ry fear!
Here there is joy for ev’ry tear!
Give Him glory! Give Him glory!
He is risen! He is risen!
Hallelujah!
O! Let the nations sing the fame
Of Christ the Lamb who once was slain!
He is risen! He is risen!
Now we await the coming day,
When all those raised in Christ will say:
Give Him glory! Give Him glory!
He is risen! He is risen!
Hallelujah!

Look! Ye Saints
04:03

“LOOK! YE SAINTS”
Words: Thomas Kelly (1809). Music: Joshua Otte.
Look, ye saints! the sight is glorious:
See the Man of Sorrows now;
From the fight returned victorious,
Every knee to Him shall bow.
Crown Him! Crown Him!
Crown Him! Crown Him!
King of kings and Lord of lords!
Crown the Savior! angels, crown Him;
Rich the trophies Jesus brings;
In the seat of power enthrone Him,
While the vault of heaven rings.
Sinners in derision scorned Him,
Mocking thus the Savior’s claim;
Saints and angels crowd around Him,
Own His title, praise His name.
Hark, those bursts of acclamation!
Hark, those loud triumphant chords!
Jesus takes the highest station;
O what joy the sight affords!

Christ is Coming

"CHRIST IS COMING, LET CREATION"
Words: John R. MacDuff (1818-1895). Music: Joshua Otte.
Christ is coming! let creation
From her groans and travail cease,
Let the glorious proclamation
Hope restore, and faith increase.
Christ is coming! Christ is coming!
Come, Thou blessed Prince of Peace.
Earth can now but tell the story
Of Thy bitter cross and pain;
She shall yet behold Thy glory
When Thou comest back to reign.
Christ is coming! Christ is coming!
Let each heart repeat the strain.
Long Thine exiles have been pining
For Thy peace and rest, and Thee,
Soon, in heav'nly glory shining,
Their Restorer shall they see.
Christ is coming! Christ is coming!
Haste the joyous jubilee.
With that blessed hope before us,
Let no harp remain unstrung;
Let the mighty advent chorus
Onward roll on every tongue.
Christ is coming! Christ is coming!
Come, Lord Jesus, quickly come.

“COME, LORD JESUS, TO REDEEM US”
Words: Gary A. Parrett (2002). Music: NETTLETON.
Arrangement: Joshua Otte.
Come, Lord Jesus, to redeem us
from our foes and from our fears.
We await the hand of mercy
that will wipe away our tears.
We have labored long in darkness,
even now our hearts grow weak.
How we long for your appearing
and your great salvation seek.
Come, Lord Jesus, true and righteous,
bring your pure and piercing light.
For we know when you appear, Lord,
ev’ry wrong shall be made right.
You will vanquish all the proud ones;
you will fill all those who thirst.
O, the first shall be the last, then,
and the last shall be the first.
Now prepare a path before Him:
in the desert make a way.
Take the gospel to the nations
and proclaim his coming Day.
Ev’ry mountain must be leveled;
ev’ry valley must be raised.
Then all flesh shall see his glory.
God shall be forever praised!
Raise the cry of “Maranatha!”
We shall soon behold our King.
To the Alpha and Omega,
this one prayer and plea we sing:
joining voices with the Spirit
we, the Bride of Christ, say, “Come!”
Come, Lord Jesus, come and free us
from this death and bring us home.

“UPON THIS MOUNT (ISAIAH 25:6-9)”
Words: Gary A. Parrett (2005). Music: KINGSFOLD.
Arrangement: Joshua Otte.
Upon this mount, the LORD of hosts
will spread a wondrous feast,
and welcome all to join him there—
the greatest and the least.
A feast of treasures he prepares:
the finest food and wine.
And we, with hungry souls, await
that Day when we shall dine.
On this same mount, the LORD of hosts
the dark veil will devour
that keeps the world in mourning bound
until this very hour.
At last, our dreaded foe shall fall:
God's life shall swallow death!
And we, now fainting from the fight,
will praise God with new breath.
The Sovereign LORD will wipe away
all tears from ev'ry face,
and from his people will remove
all remnants of disgrace.
The LORD has spoken; it is done!
So say we all, "Amen."
God's word must surely be fulfilled
the Day he comes again.
In that Day, they will say of him:
“This is our God indeed.
We trusted him. He saved us all
in our great time of need.
This is the LORD; we trusted him.
Hear how his praise resounds!
In his salvation we are glad.
Our joy shall know no bounds.”

There is a Fountain
02:50

“THERE IS A FOUNTAIN”
Words: William Cowper (1772). Music: CLEANSING FOUNTAIN. Arrangement: Joshua Otte.
There is a fountain filled with blood
drawn from Emmanuel’s veins;
And sinners plunged beneath that flood
lose all their guilty stains.
Lose all their guilty stains,
lose all their guilty stains;
And sinners plunged beneath that flood
lose all their guilty stains.
Dear dying Lamb, Thy precious blood
shall never lose its power
Till all the ransomed church of God
be saved, to sin no more.
Be saved, to sin no more,
be saved, to sin no more;
Till all the ransomed church of God
be saved, to sin no more.
E’er since, by faith, I saw the stream
Thy flowing wounds supply,
Redeeming love has been my theme,
and shall be till I die.
And shall be till I die,
and shall be till I die;
Redeeming love has been my theme,
and shall be till I die.
